Kenny’s Flower Shoppe has been in business for over 40 years at the same location at 110 West State Street. It is a privately owned and operated small, local business that thrives on quality, personal service, and perfection. Ownership for Joyce Walker began in April 2019. Joyce is proud to have brought new life and fresh passion to Kenny’s. Kenny’s customizes every arrangement with the latest styles and techniques to meet the customers’ needs and budget. Kenny’s delivers to most areas in Southeast Pennsylvania. We also create arrangements for pick up. Customers have the convenience of either calling directly to the shoppe, or using our own ON-LINE store available through our website. Kenny’s is a favorite of many venues in the area for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and showers. Our custom wedding florals are created to meet most every style and budget. Kenny’s is proud to be a preferred florist for Tyler Arboretum, and exclusive to the Townehouse, two of Media's icons.

We are now allowing walk-ins abiding by current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. As always, we are also taking phone and online orders.

Meet the Kenny's Team

Joyce Walker

Owner
Joyce began her professional training while working with her sister-in-law at her nursery in New Jersey. Joyce retired from teaching and bought Kenny’s to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning her own shop. Joyce is very grateful to the Delaware County community for supporting Kenny’s Flower Shoppe.

Demetra Peters

Florist
Deme started at Kenny’s in February 2023. She graduated from The Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Painting, and a Master of Education in Art.  Deme is a seasoned florist as well as a master artesian in many different mediums.

Martha Friars

Designer
Martha Friars is the lead of our designer team. Martha has been a florist for over 37 years, working in her own shop, as well as prominent shops in Southern New Jersey and Chester County, PA. Martha has received scholarships to attend design schools and programs throughout the country.

Russell Ferrera

Delivery Driver
Russ is one of our part-time delivery drivers. Russ additionally provides staff with support in various jobs at the shop including IT. Russ is a master classical guitarist, and can be seen at various venues around Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Kara Cron

Social Media Specialist
Kara Cron is our social media specialist. She adds creative style to our flower presentations and displays, as she promotes us in the digital world. Kara also assists during the busy seasons and with event/wedding set ups, arranging flowers and even preparing routes for our drivers.

Carolyn Bonass

Designer/Shop Assistant
Carolyn became part of Kenny’s growing family in November 2022. She has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Temple University. Carolyn is a floral designer, assists with our horticulture division as well as providing customer service and merchandising design for our shop.

Jay Boyer

Delivery Driver
Jay is a part-time delivery driver. He is a also an artist and a photographer.

AJ Pyrih

Shop Assistant
AJ Pyrih is our part time shop assistant. AJ waters plantings at our neighborhood business friends, delivers to our local customers, puts out recycling and trash, files, shreds, dusts and vacuums the shop, as well as assist with preparing items for use by our designers

Joyce, the owner of Kenny's Flower Shoppe, was incredibly nice and accommodating for our wedding. Like many other couples, we had to change plans multiple times. We decided on a final plan about 2 weeks before the wedding and Joyce was able to make me the perfect bouquet and boutonniere. I sent her a couple of photos and she merged the best parts of them to create a wonderful winter bouquet without it being holiday-like. The prices are so reasonable. Joyce is so nice and was able to deliver our flowers to our hotel. She's a fun person to be around and you'll find yourself actually enjoying the planning process a little bit more.
